Interaction Design and Usability Testing

I have created high and low-fidelity interactive prototypes and wireframes to illustrate, document and test the interaction design for corporate and brand websites, e-commerce sites and other web-based software products. I have used Visio, Omnigraffle, Axure and have created numerous sketches and paper prototypes.

I have also planned and moderated usability tests, both in-person and remotely, to gather feedback on designs during all stages of development and post-launch.

I have developed numerous site maps to visualize information architecture and to inform site structure and navigation, and to optimize for Search. Research and Experience Planning

Primary Qualitative Research and Personas

I have led or contributed to persona development for a number of projects in industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, Financial Services and HR. I have conducted interviews and contextual inquiry sessions in order to understand users, and help project teams develop empathy.

Journey Mapping

I led journey mapping sessions with stakeholders, customer proxies and project team members in the Financial Services industry for a customer portal redesign project. The journey mapping sessions helped us to understand our customers' needs, goals and pain points. The sessions also brought our stakeholders and project team members into the user-centered design process, where they learned about our methods for creating an experience our customers would love.

I participated in a number of journey mapping sessions for industries including consumer packaged goods and education. I created visualizations of the user journeys, user flows and experience frameworks to share with our clients, and for internal use.
